| Beginning in February 2002, the customers of Humboldt Utilities began an innovative program to help provide funds for needy families and children in our community.
This program will be called Round Up-Plus, and every Humboldt Utilities customer can participate!
How will it work? Your utility bill each month will be rounded up to the next highest dollar amount. For example, if your months bill is $52.71, it would be rounded up to $53.00. These extra cents Plus one dollar would be your monthly contribution to the Round Up-Plus fund. All contributions to this fund would be used to help those in our community who need assistance with food, clothing, shelter, utilities, medicine, and other special needs. By participating in this program, you will contribute an average of $1.50 per month a small amount, but a tremendous boost to those who need help.

| The money collected through Round Up-Plus will be distributed through the newly reorganized Helping Hand of Humboldt, Inc. Rev. Herb Adams is chairman of the 18-member board which is made up of local ministers and business people.
